LEGO Robotics & AI Foundations for Kids (Grades 1–3) in Berlin
In the age of AI, early learners need curiosity, confidence and a simple understanding of how technology responds to instructions and data. By building and coding with LEGO Education, children turn abstract ideas into something they can see, test and improve — developing logic, teamwork and responsible digital habits from the start.
What your child will learn
- Follow and explain step-by-step algorithms
- Build and program models using a motor and sensor
- Use events, sequences and loops with confidence
- Explore AI classification safely and creatively
- Collaborate, reflect and present a final build
Course content
Module 1. Foundations & Teamwork
Build collaboratively and take team roles, model familiar everyday processes, break a problem into smaller steps, and plan a solution with simple symbols.
Module 2. Hardware: Inputs & Outputs
Explore the motor and colour sensor, identify input, processing and output, connect and test components, and build interactive models.
Module 3. Events
Make programs start from events, trigger movement, light or sound, observe cause and effect, and debug simple event-based code.
Module 4. Sequences
Arrange commands in the correct order, predict and test program behaviour, find and fix errors in a sequence, and complete mission-based builds.
Module 5. Loops
Repeat actions efficiently, compare repeated code with loop blocks, create rhythmic movement patterns, and improve a model through iteration.
Module 6. AI & Data
Explore classification with examples, train and test a simple classifier, discuss accuracy and responsible AI use — closing with a final design challenge and showcase.
