LEGO Robotics, Computer Science & AI (Grades 4–6) in Berlin
As AI becomes part of everyday life, children must learn not only to use technology but to reason about how systems make decisions. This course combines robotics, code and data so students learn to plan, test, debug and improve solutions while working collaboratively on meaningful challenges.
What your child will learn
- Plan solutions with pseudocode and computational thinking
- Build event-driven programs with loops and conditions
- Use variables and data to control robotic behaviour
- Train, test and reflect on a simple AI classifier
- Debug collaboratively and present a complete project
Course content
Module 1. Foundations & Pseudocode
Explore hardware and the Coding Canvas, decompose problems into manageable parts, plan solutions with pseudocode, and build, test and improve systematically.
Module 2. Events & Interactive Systems
Trigger actions from events, program motors and the colour sensor, create responsive robotic models, and debug event-driven programs.
Module 3. Loops
Repeat sequences efficiently, use nested and repeat-until loops, optimise code and movement, and create precise robotic patterns.
Module 4. Conditions
Apply true/false decision logic, combine sensor input with conditions, program alternative outcomes, and test edge cases and reliability.
Module 5. Variables & Data
Store, retrieve and change values, create counters, scores and measurements, use data to control behaviour, and interpret and explain program results.
Module 6. AI & Data
Use pre-trained AI classifiers, create and train a classifier, test accuracy and improve examples, and design an interactive AI project.
