Visual Programming for Kids (8–12) in Berlin
In the age of AI, children should not only consume technology — they should understand how it works and learn to create with it. Visual Programming builds the logic, confidence and creative problem-solving that prepare young learners for advanced coding, robotics and AI.
What your child will learn
- Think in algorithms and logical steps
- Create interactive stories, animations and games
- Use conditions, loops, variables and reusable procedures
- Plan, test, refine and confidently present a final project
- Progress towards Python, robotics and AI learning pathways
Course content
Module 1. Introduction
Linear algorithms, loops, initial arrangement and events — completed with the Showpiece project.
Module 2. Space
Coordinates, turns and direction, rotation and degrees, and messages — completed with the Cartoon project.
Module 3. Game Creation
Selection conditions and operators, changing coordinates, procedures, game planning, testing games and presenting the finished game.
Module 4. Logic
AND / OR / NOT operators, conditional loops, random numbers and value ranges, coordinate areas, and a group project with refinement and presentation.
Module 5. Variables
Variables in loops, data types and operators, variables in games and as parameters — leading into a chatbot project, its finalisation and presentation.
