Is this course suitable for my child’s age? What if they have no previous experience? Will they join a new or existing group?

Yes! We place children by age and experience level: - Visual Programming (VP): Ages 7–11 - Python: Ages 12–16 - Robotics & Game Design: Mixed ages, grouped by skill Most children start with no prior experience — our curriculum begins with beginner-friendly lessons. Depending on your preferred schedule, your child can join either a new group (starting from lesson 1) or an existing group. To ensure the right placement, we always offer a free trial lesson.

Is 90 minutes too long for younger children? Can parents stay during the lesson?

The 90-minute format works very well because it incorporates short breaks, hands-on tasks, and interactive activities that keep children engaged. Children concentrate better without parents in the room, but you are welcome to arrive a little early — we will happily show you the project built during the day.

What language is used for instruction?

All regular courses are taught in German, and all instructors also speak English. If your child needs support in English, we are very happy to assist.

Can my child switch from Visual Programming to Python?

Yes — children can switch from Visual Programming to Python as soon as they are ready. Parents receive weekly updates, progress reports, and project files, which help determine the right transition point together with the teachers.

Can we start on a monthly basis? What happens if my child does not enjoy the course? Are sibling discounts available? What is included in the price?

Take your child’s digital skills to the next level! In this course, 8- to 14-year-olds learn to build their own news channel, and film and edit promo videos. They also develop virtual quests, comics and animations, and program a platformer or an interactive movie-game.

Design a detailed digital city map with Canva. Build a professional news blog for your own virtual metropolis with Google Sites.

Day 2

Animations and web quest

Work with layers in graphics software to build detailed cityscapes. Develop an interactive web quest that brings the virtual city to life.

Day 3

GDevelop game design – beginner

Pixel art fundamentals: design your own landmarks and place them into a digital city backdrop. Put together a presentation about your own design process.

Day 4

GDevelop game design – level 2

Design your own amusement park inside the digital city. Program core game mechanics and extend them with advanced features.

Day 5

Final presentation with Google Slides

Build a professional Google Slides presentation and present your own project within a set time limit.
